My Dealers manager sends me an update e-mail weekly. Kudos to him.

DM advised him today that only 3 Hell Cats from first allocation are destined for Atlantic Canada. One each for NB, NS & NFLD. :frown:
Thats ok by me as I dont want mine until spring, earliest.

IMHO since it is 4 weeks since US orders opened and 10 Weeks for Canadian orders it is time Dodge / SRT told the customers who have placed orders when their expected delivery is. They know how many they can build and how many customer orders they have. It ain't rocket science.

Lack of communication is not a good thing. It loses you customers.

Does anyone know how/where I can look up the status of my VON? Since I'm in Canada and ordered through a local dealership, the VOTS does not work and SRT customer service was not able to help me.

To add to my frustration, my salesmen has been promising an update for two months and all I am asking him for is the VON status code (want to know if it made it to BX and awaiting allocation) as well as the priority and scheduling build but he always finds a reason why these cannot be provided. Computer problems, person who has access out of the office, etc...

I checked with someone at another dealership who I used to do business with many years ago and he told me that my salesmen should be able to look this up on the Chrysler "DealerCONNECT" system but it is apparently not available for the general public to use for tracking purposes and since my salesmen can't/won't give me this, I looking for suggestions/options.
Since your salesman appears to be a Dick or incompetent :notallthere:, call your dealers Sales Manager or General Manager & tell him you want the status code & VON for your car. This is available. Mine emailed me this & my order sheet the day after my order was placed.
I email my dealers sales manager weekly for an update & get a reply the same day from him.
Mine is still BX which it has been since August 8th.

Might be moving, but allocations are still next to none. :frown:

One of the largest dealers in my province responded to my query about Hellcat's yesterday.

He has 3 sold orders, one ordered for his showroom.

His allocations so far, ZERO

Mine is still just BX only after being ordered 4 months ago. :frown:

All true. :werd::crying:

I'm at peace with it now. Took awhile. At least we have a chance where it appears American orders at smaller dealers are pretty much hopeless. :frown:

At least if I don't win the Hellcat Lottery in Canada I get back the price of my Ticket. :grin2:

VON 32072709 Ordered Aug 8/14, to VIN FH818625 March 9 2015

New Brunswick, Canada
Black Tri Coat, Auto, Laguana Sepia, Nav.

Won the Canadian draw Friday at 4 pm March 6 when I received an e-mail from my Dealers GM that he had allocation for me from the District Rep for a May build. Likely will get it in June or early July. No problem with me as we have so much snow here I will likely be riding my Turbo 320 HP Snowmobile until May sometime !!!

FYI ; Dealer Rep required info on me from the dealer before issuing the VIN. Guess I passed the test.

Looks like Dodge / SRT is trying in Canada at least to fulfill the early real customer orders.

My dealer is a small one in a small province. They had my Challenger Hellcat order & ordered a Charger HC for Stock.
I specifically told my dealer to not submit to any contingent allocation requests from FCA and they were not asked to take any slow sellers.

It has been a weird process but I expected something like this based on the way the Grand Cherokee SRT sales went in Canada in their first year as posted by a member who ordered one.

All good for me at the end of the day with delivery likely a month later than I requested.

Actually Mark you made a very good point.
Dealers are ranked by penetration rates in their zone by most auto manufacturers in Canada
Appears credence /allocation is being given to dealers with good penetration rates from what I see here in N.B. & from what you have seen.
Mom & pop stores charging reasonable prices not getting screwed in this country anyway.
Glad I went the route I did. Took 7 months to get a VIN but I expected 5 or 6 months when I ordered.
BTW my dealer received no pressure from Chrysler to take slow moving product to secure my allocation.
They did have to send in the signed sales contract with my info on it & proof of my $5,000 deposit in August before the VIN was issued & car went to D status though.
Shady dealers I'm sure submit false "sold orders" but it appears Chrysler is trying to get the Hellcat into real customers hands at this point in the process in Canada anyway..
