So, the driver's exterior door handle has developed an annoying squeak to it. I'm thinking of simply spraying some dry lubricant up under the lift-hadle to cure it. Has anyone else encountered this? is there anything I should be careful of or is my solution reasonable?
I think "dry lube" will be most appropriate as I live in a dry and dusty climate.

That sounds like a reasonable route to try. Most likely just metal rubbing metal. Can you see a pivot point looking up under there? If so spray a q-tip and rub it on as opposed to spraying.

Thanks for your input. I haven't looked under the handle yet. My biggest concern is any electrical/electronic components. I would certainly hope that they would be sealed & resistant to the relatively small amount of spray lube. That's why I was asking if anyone else had a similar issue.

I see it no more intrusive than a constant rain or car wash would let in.
