I have seen Blacktop pictures on this forum and on the inter web with both gloss black perimeter grill and with the polished metal look perimeter grill. I thought the gloss black grill was standard. Was the metal surround grill an option, replaced by owner?

All blacktop grille surrounds should be gloss black, I guess a mistake could have happened (not likely) but would rather think owner changed it out.

Hello I have a '13 Blacktop, it only looks that way sometimes because it's a high gloss black.

If that's a gloss black grill surround, the pictures I have seen like this one look like a metal surround because of the way the light reflects off of it.

Mine is orange and the grille surround is black. I thought they were all black.

This from Dodge, doesn't say whether it is black chrome or black paint, I thought it was paint.

not sure on challenger, my wifes 100th ann charger grille is grey mettalic, same as wheels which is great cause vehicle is grey metallic
