Frosty / frozen windows in the morning

My car is a 4 season car, and is parked outside. Even a light frost overnight will stick the windows shut, let alone a rain/freeze cycle.

The door seal freezes, and the window sweep also.
What’s the best maintenance for this? And remedies?

Sorry if this is an old question, I’m relatively new to the Challenger world! 2019 GT, for those that want to know!

it's annoying for sure. Some nights I'll go out and open the door and close it again before I go to bed, it helps. It's most troublesome in spring and fall or weird transitional points when the weather goes freezing overnight. Thankfully once it gets below freezing stays below freezing, it stays not a problem for most of the winter.

I haven't had much luck with aquapel or other glass treatments. Maybe I didn't do it right. It sticks at the belt line where the window goes into door. If it's really bad, sliding a credit card between the glass and the door breaks it free.

Thanks…I filled a spray bottle with de-icer washer fluid…kind of a pain, when I’m running late!

I wish my auto start fired the fan at full blast defrost..I often forget to crank the fan when I shut the car down at the end of the day.
Other cars I had did this automatically.

You can use a silicone spray like WD-40 Specialist on the rubber seals. That will help to prevent the freezing.

You might want to look into a car cover. This will keep the frost at bay and may help.

I found keeping the window glass clean especially where it contacts the weather stripping helped. And wipe down the weather stripping with a clean damp cloth. The weather stripping the glass touches, but also the door touches and even the hood and trunk weather stripping.

Then when the weather stripping is clean and dry apply some Gummi Pflege which helps the weather stripping from sticking.

I live in new york and often have windows and doors icing closed in the winter due to the glass being prevented from dropping. Even when I would be able to pop the doors open, the windows would fail to drop and the door wouldn't close properly to drive or would damage the rubber seals around the window. I have tried silicone sprays and de-icers, credit card to separate the window, car covers, but the only one that works well is a remote starter. The car would be unusable in the winter without it. (I also keep 4 blizzak snow tires mounted on separate rims to be used in the winter for added traction.)

With another car had the door glass fail to drop when I opened the door in icy conditions. What I did was once in the car I left the door ajar and started the engine. Then I wiggled the glass and pushed the down button at the same time. The ice broke free -- the window appeared to be stuck from ice at where the glass entered the door -- and the glass dropped. Once the window moved with the button then it was free and went up when I closed the door.
