I just finished converting my factory T/A hood to be fully functional on my 2010 R/T Classic. Ordered the kit from Dodge (a little pricey for what you get) and had to drill some new 1/4" holes for the air box to mount. This is only required on the older non functional T/A hoods offered before the Mopar10 came out. Also had to cut the holes for air flow under the scoop. You will need to install the Mopar CAI for the functional setup to work as the airbox will hit the top of the original factory airbox. After everything was installed took the Challenger out for a test drive. What a seat of the pants experience. The sound and performance is way better than the stock setup. The getup and go seems a lot quicker, maybe because it is getting air flow a lot easier. I also noticed that the heat buildup factor under the hood is a lot cooler even with the cover installed. I am very satisfied with the performance of the functional T/A hood.
