What is a bright, affordable taillight LED for a 2010 challenger? I'd like to get the Diode Dynamics taillights, but they're a bit pricey.

LEDs are available from many sources. I like and used these:

They are not the brightest, but have a good differential between tail and brake brightness. Look through their site, they have multiple package pricing.
The same company has brighter LEDs, however, I don't have any experience with those.

You only need one 3 ohm 50 watt resistor per side.
You can connect to the OE wires in the trunk. Left rear, white with dark green tracer. Right rear, white with yellow tracer.
Mount to body metal or as I did to a heavy metal panel. I attached the panel behind the trunk body in front of the rear bumper, allowing max air and easy replacement if necessary (yes, I had to replace one).
