Greetings. I am a medic working in Afghanistan so I will not post in Dhari and unfortunately don't have my challenger here with me. I am currently driving a F550 Gun Truck on a security escort team. I am on a 90/30 so the fiance is back home in Corpus Christi, Tx enjoying the new car. It is a black with white stripe RT classic and I really enjoyed driving it the last time I was home. I don't know much about mopars so I'm hopeing to learn lots of cool stuff from everyone on here.

Best regards,
Harry "Doc" Clark

Welcome, From the pictures I've seen of that place I don't think you want your Challenger there. Stay safe and hopefully she'll keep it ready for your return.

Well Salam alaikum

Welcome to the forum, I bought mine when I was on leave and only got to drive it for three days before going back. I spent 9 months in the KC but never Kabul.

Be save and think about mods

From having actually been out on the Kabul street, I concur. Add the novelty of this car and it's awesome looks, etc. and someone is bound to run into you just gawking at your car. Stick to the Armored HiLux or MRAP.

We run the streets of Afghanistan from Kandahar to Khost and there are no streets I would put my Challenger on over here. We drive 4X4 F550 trucks and break them on a regular basis.

P-Grin what do you do at Salerno? We go to Khost everyonce in awhile but I have never been on the FOB there. The route there is about 250K and can take up to 13 hours depending on the ammount of cargo we are escorting.

Doc, Be careful and thanks for the service. There will be lots of things you can do to the car when you get home. So for now enjoy the forums. Ronnie
