Front wheel bearings? They may have not been properly installed or greased?

That's unusual - but the 'corner modules' come assembled by the supplier and are installed as a complete assembly on the line...it could have been an improper assembly /lack of lubricant from the supplier.

No problems here, 28k miles with at least a few hundred miles of hard driving and 1g+ cornering at the track. Car still drives like new...well...other than what my mods improved. :D

The dealership called and said that they are replacing both bearings , just glad it was covered under warranty. I do have question concerning an antifreeze smell coming from the air vents? Have any of you encountered this? It does not do this all the time, just when I stop at a red light or park. I was informed that it could be the heater core or on some 12's or 13's the thermostat housing will melt. I have not seen any leaks, so just wondering if this continues will it cause any long term damage? The dealership said they did not smell antifreeze, so I don't know what to do! Any feed back would be great!
