Ok. I just put a set of BBK headers on my 09 rt. It is obvious that the factory heat shields will not fit back on. Should I be concerned with any problems that I may have if they are not put back on or do I need to somehow make them fit. Any help would be great

If they aren't ceramic coated I think a decent wrap wouldn't hurt.

One thing you should do is wrap the wire coming off the alternator that runs near the header tube on the passenger side. The 2 sets of shorties that I have installed got this treatment. I learned on the second set wrapping the wire was waaaayy easier with the manifold out of the way before the header went in.
