Yup. My wife and I were talking about. They invited me down to see it. They even fired it up in the showroom.

The sales girl figures they'd have to flatbed it to the customers home due to the 2 feet of snow.... on the dealerships dime.

I told her "I guess. At 23k ADM you should be offering a kidney if he needs it too".

Ironically its a sublime 6 speed. Not an A8. There's some pictures of it. Just waiting for them to transfer over to the one drive... then I can post them if someone wanted.

Paying a premium... to park it for winter. The satisfaction of being "first" I guess.

Worth it to some people I guess... just not anyone I know.

I agree. Just think, our order banks opened July 23. Way before the States.... and they're just getting here now.

This dealer was at 91k for the first batch. Another dealer was at 85k with top bid of 100k for the first one.

Remember, we're in Canada. Invoice is 60, msrp is 65k, taxes and fee's end it at 70.

Its all oil patch money in my neck of the woods. Its not uncommon to see 70k King Ranches and Laramie's.

Pictures are up.

I feel for our Canadian friends here, seems like they aren't getting many sent their way but that said, it doesn't matter if the order banks opened 10 years ago for this car, had to wait until production started.

Now I wish someone on these boards paid the $20k markups that we are HEARING the dealers say they made the sale for. I can see up to about $5k to be first but $20k just puts you in a different class of vehicle that you can get without a wait. I'd like to hear the buyers point of view.

My 2013Laramie 2500 Crew Cab was $90k after all the add ins.

On a side note, I'm kind of glad everyone is paying 90+ for their Hellcats because in a couple of years when I have my 392 paid off, I'll be able to buy one for MSRP. Those guys will have used 2015 Hellcats that have lost over $40k in depreciation.

You know, I've seen several links to dealers tacking on stupid-high premiums, just like they did for first-year Vipers back in the day.

Yet people here are paying sane prices for vehicles they ordered...

I think the dealers don't WANT to sell their first allotted Hellcats. They want to keep them on the showroom floor for a while to attract foot traffic.

If someone's dumb enough to pay $20k over sticker, well, of course they won't say "No!" but they realize they won't get another Hellcat to put on display for weeks or months and store traffic will drop.

HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Especially in Canada.
:grin2:

In a way true..... but someone in Canada is getting one. That's why I started the thread. To give hope to my fellow Canadians that have ordered... early... and are still waiting.

I was told mid October to early November delivery. I too would've order had the ADM not come up, so I feel for the others that did jump..

I haven't looked too hard, and correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the 1st Hellcat delivered to a customer in Canada? Just wondering.

Here's hoping that everyone gets theirs soon.

I went and looked at it today. Cool car but not $90k cool.

I have to agree. Love to have one, but not at any price. Pretty happy with what I have. They need to sell me the car more than I need to buy it.

I can wait.

Anyhow someone's going to have a great Christmas. Happy for them.

Did you buy a cardboard box and how many rooms did it have?

srs. $20,000 for a house!? Small town, population, you? :D

(I'm just jealous, we can't get decent homes under 400-500k here)

Calgary, Edmonton, or Ft. McMurray eh? :wink3:
