Car & Driver, in its March 2020 issue, road tested the Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody and compared its performance to the Ford Shelby GT500 (760 hp.) and Camaro ZL1 1LE (650 hp.). The magazine rated the Camaro #1, the GT500 #2 and the SRT #3.

Despite, this, the $92,785 Redeye put up some impressive numbers:

0-30 mph= 1.7 sec.
0-60 mph= 3.8 sec.
0-100 mph= 7.4 sec.
1/4 mile= 11.6 sec.
0-160 mph= 19.6 sec.
Top Speed= 203 mph.
Rollout, 1 ft.= 0.3 sec.
Rolling Start, 5-60 mph= 4.2 sec.
Top Gear, 30-50 mph= 2.1 sec.
Top Gear, 50-70 mph= 2.2 sec.

Just for the halibet, I would like to see the results comparing the the RedEye to a 2016 Challenger HellCat.
Is it an up grade or more like just a little on the side?

I read the review. Read it twice, actually. The results/ranking doesn't surprise me, but the heft of the GT500 sure did. Its no lightweight, coming in at 4059 lbs.

I cant help but wonder, what if the Redeye was rolling on 305/315 Pilot Cups, instead of 305 Pirelli's?
It may not have changed its overall ranking, but it surely would have improved its max grip, braking and acceleration numbers.
