Hey Guys!

So today I was getting ready to start my lovely commute and got into my 2014 SXT and fired her up, well immediatley after the car died.

I thought this was odd so I tried it again, nothing.

With my car having RKE i got out and walked away and came back and she fired right up!

Once I got to work I was able to pull the code P2299 which is a brake pedal/accelorator position code. Would this have anything to do with what happened this morning? What does this code actually mean? How do I correct it?

Also I am installing a GoPedal today on her.... shouldnt this delete that code?

Any and all help is much appreciated!

Clear the code. If it returns replace the brake lamp switch. It is a correlation code that can be set if you powerbrake orr ride the brake. Basically it sees the gas and brake pressed at the same time for too long. Most often a bad brake switch.
