Help Identifying Bracket

424 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  397Stroker
Hi everyone!

I recently swapped a 6.4 manifold onto my 5.7. This vacuum line (I believe, check attached image) was secured by a bracket on my 5.7 manifold that doesn't fit onto the 6.4 manifold. I have it just hanging there right now but I want to find a way to secure it. Looking for a part number or something.

You'll have to rig something up, or mount the purge solenoid the way it is on the 6.4L. On the 6.4L it's attached to the passenger side cylinder head at the back. That means you'll have to get the lines, and the electrical connector probably won't reach.

When I had my RT and did this swap I modified the bracket where it was mounted. I believe a little grinding and you can make it so it fits the bolt location the same as on the 5.7. Don't remember if I had to bend it at all.
