Hey guys, I am trying to install a smart stop module for my third brake light. I have found these to be very helpful in gaining the persons attention who is surfing the web while driving behind you.

My other cars was easy to get to the wiring but the Challenger is being a challenge. I have a 2010, I notice I can pull down on the brake light assembly and it comes down about an inch or two but not sure what to do from there. Would it be easier to get to the wiring from somewhere else?

Has anyone else out there hooked one up on a Challenger?
Any advice is appreciated.

The service manual for my 09 says

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. 2. Lower the rear of the headliner. 3. Disconnect the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) electrical connector (2). 4. Pull down on the CHMSL (3) and remove it from the vehicle (1).
