Picked up a 16' 392 and the drivers side headlight was going out intermittently around 2200 miles. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the bulb under warranty saying it had burned out. On the way home bulb worked for about 2 miles then flickered and went out again. Returned to the dealer to they could see it but didn't have time to wait on it again. Any thoughts on what may cause this or has anyone heard of this problem before I drop it off later this week? Thank you.

Thank you!! Picked up from Dealer this evening. I supplied them with the attachment from ChallyTatum and suggested the HID Lamp Driver or Ballast. They checked the switch since it was working intermittently but wound up replacing the Headlight assembly since the Driver/ballast is not sold separately. Covered under warranty otherwise would have set me back $1,000.00.

I am curious to know how long it took them...I am guessing ~2.0 hrs? I can take my front clip off and install in ~40 minutes at a leisure pace.

No Idea, I dropped it off Wed evening after work and picked it up after work today. They called this afternoon stating it was finished. When I dropped it off I asked about the headlamp assembly availability and the parts guy said national backorder of 53 units. They had to get one from another dealers inventory as they didn't have any in stock. Probably took them a day to get it. Just glad to have it back for the weekend.
