Hey Hey Hey Bill! Had a GREAT time last night!

I'm sorry I took such out of focus vids.

Even more sorry I didn't capture your 12.30 run (who invented lens covers on cameras anyway? It's ruined many a great moment! LOL!!!)

Your car is awesome! It sounds incredible!

You have an 11 second car, like you said though you need more seat time. Plus, the air last night wasn't the best.

I checked this morning and both tires were spinning so I don't think that I have a rear problem. I braked really hard and found the car broke loose at three thousand RPM so that is what I am going to try to launch next week. Are you going down? Who was that guy I met that is the Mopar genious that really helped me out alot last night? I owe him a case of bear or I will wax and shine his new Esclade

Yes it will be fun. I talked my buddy into buying a Charger and he will be coming. I should have a group of about 15 people. I keep bragging about your car and it would be great to show off a Challenger with a Ken Bell!!!! Hope to see you if you can make it.

I left at 1800 rpm instead of 3000 and didn't roll thru the light. I tried with traction control on and then turned it off and ran 12.1. So it's traction control on from now on. Now I will try to launch at a little higher RPM. They told me at the track that I need a driveshaft loop which I think is crazy. John was running 10.24 and they didn't make him have a loop but I guess the rules changed so I will go with the flow. I will tell you that after running 13.1 for awhile and to then get the HHP stage 2 upgrade done by Josh it is like night and day and a whole lot of fun now.

LOL!!! That helps to at least be able to pick up a time slip. :bigthumb:

I also think when you turned off the traction control you might have had a worse ET due to some heat soak so keep that in mind Bill.

Freakin' awesome time man! CONGRATS!!! You deserve it my man!

Heat soak!!!!! It was 37 degrees and I let her cool down a half hour before runs. I felt the intake and it was cold and my body was shaking so bad I probably shook the car loose.

Whats up brother. I believe we met last night. I had the black challenger. I had a blast last night, it was my first time to the track. My son and I went just to check it out, and he convinced me to take it down the track, and now Im hooked.

LOL!!! Yeah, heat soak. LOL!!!

Seriously though, I think it was a bit heat soaked. Just because the manifold is cool to the touch (I believe) that just means that the heat is not rising up from the inside (hence heat soaked). ???

Would love to hear some more experienced thoughts on this. Anyone?

LOL, bro I have always had a Loop, you need one for your own saftey, everyone going down the track should have one no matter how fast they go JMO.
Stop reving it up at the light, the car will reach a certian rpm then start taking timing out of the motor, just hold the brake then mash the gas when the 3rd light blinks at 0 rpm.
and pray for traction.
How much air in the DR's?
How much air in the fronts?
