I just purchased a 2017 Challenger T/A Plus last week and love it! It does need some exterior cosmetic TLC. I started by repainting the metal round Mopar emblems that attach to the hood. As you can see in the pictures, the paint was peeling off. I removed them, sanded them down with a wire brush bit on my drill, primed and painted. I am really happy with the end results.
The hood pin cables were also missing so I have a set coming in this week and can complete the look.

The owner before me put this kit on or it was installed as an add on for the T/A Plus.
I have seen this same kit online for around $300.

Those are the factory hood pins. They are an option and can also be ordered from the dealer in chrome or black.
Those are drilled? I misunderstood, I thought he said he glued them back on after painting

The "Mopar" plate is attached with an adhesive. The pin is a real pin that goes through a hole on the hood.
No wonder they looked so good.

I found this Mopar hood pin kit on eBay!

Yes, these are the real deal the hood was drilled for both pins.

Part number for the black set is 82214260AC and they list at $325.00. FYI
This kit is expensive to me and glad I was able to restore the original parts!

It turned out really nice. Good job!
Thanks so much! I am very pleased with how they turned out.

I just received the cables in the mail that the previous owner never installed. Now the look is complete!
Pictures to follow!
