After spending some time on this forum, I have realized that there are different model designations. I would like to know which model mine is. I'm sure it says it on the title, but I haven't received that yet.

My 2013 Challenger has the V6. The previous owner had the seats reupholstered in Katzkin leather and I'm pretty sure he had the flat black stripes added as well. Everything else leads me to believe that it is the base model and came with cloth seats. The panels on the doors are cloth. The stereo is the basic Chrysler two knob CD player unit with the mini MP3 player plug in the bottom right corner. It does not have the push button start either.

Well, you got it in the right color, anyway. ;)

I haven't tried it ('cause mine came with it), but I'd imagine you could add pushbutton start to it, if you wanted to do so...

Hey check to see if you can push the area in where the key fob goes in. I though all newer challenger s had pish button. Maybe the previous owner took the cover off. You can do this if your push button stops working so you can use your key. Maybe all you need is the cover from the dealer

Dead on! Thank you very much. That made my day. The genius salesman that sold me the car told me that the car doesn't have the push to start feature and quote "You don't want the push button anyway. They are nothing but trouble anyway. Be glad the car doesn't have it.". Even when I asked him why the info screen says to push a button to start it, he told me to "ignore it" and "All of the newer Dogdes are set up with that promp, whether they have the button or not." I guess that's the last time I take a car salesmans' word on anything. If you can't trust a guy that's selling you a car, who can you trust?

There actually is a service bulletin on the 13's that you should look into but the salesman is obviously an idiot. But you might want to go ahead and get the service bulletin done. Mine left me stranded at work a couple weeks ago.

Can you fill me in a little bit. I'm not sure exactly what a "service bulletin" is. Is it like a recall? If so, what is the issue, exactly? I am actually bringing the car to the dealership tomorrow (Thursday), to have an issue with my door keys dealt with. I'd like to go in there informed and possibly have this dealt with (If need be).
