I've tried to read up on this, but I'm getting a wide range of answers.

I want to know what temperature the exhaust pipes get -- namely the pipes in the back half and more specifically about the last 5 feet before the tips. Does anyone know roughly? Thanks.

Thanks Robroy! I was just about to report your results that you sent me in PM. Appreciate you doing this.

I put on some wide exhaust clamps last night with some red high temp silicone gasket maker on the back tailpipes about a foot from the tips. Want to see if this will change the harmonics (drone) any as I will be take a long trip in the car today. Will report back.
