No idea, but its probably way less then it should of been, considering all the dealer issues people have been having, multiple threads here about people not being able to order.Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many Hellcats where ordered up to this point? I know there is an allocation methodology, but what is the shear number of Sold Orders plus allocations?
ALL of THEM. LOLJust out of curiosity, does anyone know how many Hellcats where ordered up to this point? I know there is an allocation methodology, but what is the shear number of Sold Orders plus allocations?
I don't think the Charger had any impact on the Challenger. I have never met a single Challenger owner that liked the Charger. I've had my SRT8 since Jul 2008 and we've met a lot of car folks and done a lot of shows. Again not a single person, including myself.
Adding to this post, how many were allocated and how many were ordered? Seems like allot of dealers were taking orders without any first round allocations!Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many Hellcats where ordered up to this point? There are lots of people that are the exact opposite to thatI don't think the Charger had any impact on the Challenger. I have never met a single Challenger owner that liked the Charger. Hellcat sales on this forum are tip of the iceberg. At this point it is obvious the first thousand units will not begin to soak up current demand, so any estimate of 300 sold units is way too low.ALL of THEM. LOL
There's alot of factors that probably depressed the Challenger HC:
Order banks opened a month later than projected (probably due to the Charger HC press release/announcement.
The Charger HC introduction probably depressed the Challenger HC orders
Lack of the Cool Color Schemes like Hemi Orange Plum Crazy etc
Winter Delivery in the northern half of the U.S.
1st year production vehicle.

I have no way of knowing and no inside knowledge like some of the people have on this forum but I don't think there are 1000 CPO in the system at this point in time for the Challenger HC. This forums poll is just over 100 vehicles and I got to think the majority of HC customers are consulting forums like this or are members of this forum. Even if half of the people that ordered are on here that only puts the sold number under 300.....its anyones guess until the first cars come off the line.
Now you can say you've met a person who was going to get a Challenger Hellcat but switched to the Charger. And if you go to the Charger forums, I'm not alone -- I even started a thread there called "Was anyone else considering a Challenger?" lol.I don't think the Charger had any impact on the Challenger. I have never met a single Challenger owner that liked the Charger. I've had my SRT8 since Jul 2008 and we've met a lot of car folks and done a lot of shows. That's way, way high. The GT500 sold between 5K and 8K units a year. The idea that 10K units would be sold in the first month is inconceivable. No matter how good the Challenger Hellcat is, there simply isn't that much demand for a $60K muscle car.My guess is 10,000 plus.
I tend to agree... 10k sold in a month for this type of car from Chrysler isn't going to happen. That's way, way high. The GT500 sold between 5K and 8K units a year.
