sorry no you will not beat an SRT that 400+ HP with a S/C v6 is at the crank not at the wheels

where as the SRTs make 400+ at the wheels

Yeah another thing you have to consider is gearing. The V8 cars are geared MUCH deeper in the axles. Big difference.

If you supercharged you'd be equal in power, but you still need gearing to make it an even match. I think you'd still lose, but it'll be close and you'll have $15K less money invested. :)

I bought my 2013 sxt new for well under 21K out the door leaves plenty
of room to boost a v6 and still be under 30K

Twin turbo's

would allow you to beat stock SRTs.

I bought my 2014 SXT with the paint still wet on it for $24,500. Add a $4,300 supercharger kit and I'm under $30K.

The "world's fastest V6 Challenger" on this forum says he has about $30K total invested at this point and is hoping to run 10.9 at the track this spring.

Then you have the guy in the other lane driving a $50K SRT-8 paying double the insurance and gas to get to the track.

Every car has it's place but buying the six ain't such a bad thing anymore.
