Not sure if anyone feels the same way, but when I installed my Hurst shifter I thought the shift stick was pretty long compared to Hurst sticks in Mustangs and other cars. So I came across this different shift stick offered that is quite a bit shorter and seems a tad thicker. The P/N is 5387201. I must say I like this shorter stick much better than the stock one Hurst sends you. The shifts even seem to be a bit shorter. With Larry's mod, I think this is the shortest throw you can possibly get from the Hurst shifter for anyone looking for those short & easy shifts. Anyone interested in this, I know Speedlogix offers it, or you can just google the P/N and find it on another site.

I bought the Larry mod linkage also and threw on the Mopar short throw shifter. Love it!

I felt the same way as you man. The day i ordered the shifter I also order that stick. It makes hsifting so much smoother and faster. This IMO really takes advantage of the "Short Throw" aspect because you need to move the knob such a short distance.

^^ X3 this has to be one of the few times in his life a man will proudly boast, mine is Shorter and Faster than yours, LOL. My friends cars with the stock Hurst sticks, look like pine trees after running this one, love it! :D

Do you have any movement whenever you're in gear? I love Larry's mod and the hurst but I still have slight side to side movement when I am in gear. Not sure what needs to be tightened.

No side to side at all.

Sorry to hear that. I have no side to side at all when in gear.

Man. Guess I have to get a hold of Larry to see what he thinks it might be.
