Larry no longer sells his upgrade. I was lucky enough to get one before he sold his last few about a month ago.

I scored a used one with Larry's mods, LOVE it!

It's like an automatic compared to stock.

I guess it was just a temporary thing for Larry. Check out my thread on the hurst shift stick replacement, provides a slight shorter throw and looks a lot better IMO. Been driving all day and love it.

I bought Larry's mod but haven't installed it yet.

I feel sure the shifts will be more precise with Larry's mod, just wondering about the extra vibration through the shifter handle?

Most of the complaints I have read about involved the hurst que ball rattling from top of the shifter.

I shouldn't have that problem with the pistol grip handle and wood grips, correct?

i cant compare Larry's mod to the stock hurst cause i ordered mine from Larry with his mod done already. from what i've read and heard from others, larry's takes the slop out of the hurst making it even more precise. mine makes noise because i didnt go nuts with the sound deadening material, but it doesnt bother me. its a muscle car after all :)
