Just wondering, what is the normal idle speed of our 3.5L at idle in park or drive? My tach reads between 600-700 rpm. That seems a bit high as I thought I read somewhere that 400 rpm was then norm.

Could be why I'm only getting 19 mpg... or maybe that's because it's so fun to drive that I'm driving a bit harder now. ;)

It can depend on several factors. The biggest being engine temp.

The idle can also be adjusted with a predator. I doubt the Idle has anything to do with your gas milage unless you are sitting in parking lots idling for hours on end.
