Don't count on it.
B5 and Detonator yellow weren't full year colors in 2009. PCP, FF, and Hemi Orange Pearl were not full year colors in 2010.
I know you said should, but those colors are not shared with the rest of the production line.

Hey its not a for sure. Everyone is guessing including me. I too hope it stays for the year. Sometimes things happen. There was never suppose to be a Hemi Orange in 2010 until they ran into issues with the FF. HO was put back in until it was sorted out, so things happen.If this is true, I'll be disappointed... and challenger-less... I have to wait until February to order... :icon_confused:
Although I guess I can try to find one on a lot...
For all we know, maybe the 2 whites disappear? I'm sure that we might get a heads up from RS when we get closer to the B5 Blue window.
Oh I know... I appreciate the response... In retrospect my post does seem a whiny, it wasn't supposed to be, it was supposed to be more of a statement of my situation type thing...
The more I think about it, the less I think it'll actually happen... there's been pent up demand for the color and if they were, it would mean there wouldn't be (depending on actual dates) sublime shakers... which they have been showing...

All the talk has been that Sublime may not be around by the time the Shaker can be ordered. I said rumored based on the chatter. Seems no one knows right now.
Here's to hoping there are a total of 11 orders for Ivory white during 2014, Dodge discontinues it and they introduce PCP in January in its place :cheers:. It seems there is no interest at least on these boards in Ivory. That said, there has been a '14 100th anni. RT collecting dust on my local dealer's showroom floor

I think sublime will be around most of the MY2015. If B5 replaces something it would probably be torred IMO.
4 colors listed for the 2015my are High Impact/Heritage colors (Sublime Green, Torred, Redline 3 and B5 Blue) of those colors, only 2 will be available at launch (sublime green and Torred) the other two show late availability (September 1st for Redline 3 and November 3 for B5 blue) it would make sense that the two "late availibility" colors replace the current High Impact colors. Remember guys, there are only 12 (I think) paint tanks shared across this whole platform (Challenger/Charger and maybe the 300 also, I cant remember) it doesn't make sense to tie up 1/3 of the available colors for a small fraction of the actual production of the plant, it seems like everybody and their brother wants a sublime challenger but i'll bet it ends up being something like only 3-5% of the challengers made while that color is available are painted sublime and the numbers are going to be even lower for a pink or purple. The Ivory white tri coat may not be a high demand color for the challenger, but I'll bet they sell a pile of 300s in that color, along with the silvers/greys/blacks and white.
thats the date RS has it opening up, so just like anything else that has not yet occured, its not set in stone, but as of right now that appears to be the plan

Ivory will sell like hot cakes, sublime will sit on a dealers lot for awhile. Truth.

As much as I hope you're wrong, I keep going back to recent history. It didn't exactly sell like crazy in 2007 (some lots near me had them sitting there for quite a while). It's one of those colors you have you want. Not many people are likely to wonder onto a lot "just looking" and end up trying to decide whether they want SubLime to Gray/Maroon/Black/White.

Not sure if you checked American roads lately... Not a lot of lime green cars around. It is an Enthusiast color only, not something the average buyer would ever spend 30-40k on. It may seem popular on this forum but that is it. Trust me, everyone I tell at school, work, etc. gives me a weird look when I tell/show them the color I am buying.

That will always be true of MOST people who shop for 4-door Sedans. BUT this is not a 4-door, and this is not 2007. Granted it is still very early yet, but two dealers I have personal knowledge of, 50% take rate on Sublime for all orders made thus far. Yes, you will find sublime cars on lots, but they will be selling and replaced with newer sublime cars. Just wait until we see build numbers for 2015 two years from now, you will owe me a beer and I don't even drink. :yikes:

Yes but by definition, who other than enthusiasts are buying a Challenger in the first couple of weeks it is available, sight unseen and without a test drive ?
I find it very odd that they have two reds... TorRed and Redline running the entire model year at the same time. I do believe they only have the ability to have 12 colors running at one time for all three models.
