I've bought a K&N CAI for my SRT8 -09.

Havn't had the chance to look at the things yet, but it should be fairly simple to install by my self, right?

That should definitely be something you can do yourself with little to no issues. That's one of the first mods a lot of people do and there are a lot of posts on here about how easy some people, that have never done anything to a car, say it is.

Good luck and enjoy! :bigthumb:

It's easier to swap this after the car ran a while and the air tube is warm since it'll make it much easier to remove the IAT as the rubber will be more pliable.

Use a bit of oil on the CAI grommet to help you slide the IAT back into place. And make sure the sensor is rotated so that the air flows through it.

Make sure you attach that filter nice and snug. I noticed on my K&N that the filter was working its way off and I am glad I checked it. It was either loose to begin with or the heat and vibration caused it to start slipping off. I am talking about the large ring that holds the air-filter to the tube flange.
