i have a DD in my truck, and INSIDE the dash there was plastic tab things that had to be removed to make it fit. yours could just be the same, and you don't actually cut the portion of the dash that you see

Double Din Radio

I installed a Pioneer touch screen radio in my 2010 SE. You have to cut off 4 plastic bumps inside the dash cavity where the radio fits. Not the outside of the dash. I purchased it from Crutchfield. They have great tech support. They provide everything needed for the conversion. You will need a special cable to interface with the car harness. Make sure you get this.

It is not hard to do. Good luck
