My dad had an '01 Mustang Cobra that he installed some very high end Recaro seats. The seats were around $5K for the pair.
He still has the seats and has offered them to me.
There is a local shop that can build a bracket to mount them to the floor.
The question I have is the seat belt connector. Since the seat belt connector is a part of the stock seat, how does this work? Simply disconnect it from the seat and reconnect somehow to the floor?
Anyone done this before?
I don't believe that my '09 has airbags in the seat so I shouldn't have to worry about the airbag light.
Thanks in advance.

On the '14's,,,, the seat belt connector isn't integrated into the seat?
Where is the connector attached to?

Thought I would bump this thread.
I really want to put some $4,000 seats in my ride. :)
Just need to figure out the seat belt connector issue.
Anyone have an idea how this can be done since the seat belt connector is connected to the stock seat???
