You must be feeling the lack of overdrive in these cars. Going from 4th to 5th gear does not drop the rpms that much. Thats why I have always said we got screwed on the overdrive gear. It needs to be a bit more steep.

4th Gear-1.00:1
5th Gear-0.83:1
Reverse-3.16:1

Well, since most of the rear wheel drive 4,5 and 6 speed autos out are in the .6 to low .7:1 range I would like that more than the crappy .83.

It doesnt really bother me. I just got used to the Mustangs and Camaros I had cruising at 90MPH at 1800 RPMs. LOL
