I love the chrome (my Harley is nothing but chrome!). And thought of changing mine to chrome but there's no other chrome anywhere on the car.
I figured it would look out of place.
So I decided to stay with the satin black to match my rear Scat Pack Bumblebee Stripe.
BTW putting a partial curve decal onto a conical curve getting the center/angle/radius all correct is a major PITA. I nailed it on the top one, bottom is a smidge off. But depending on angle sometimes looks perfect.
Was Chrome, now Black. Had it and the spoiler painted satin black.
But I didn't paint the chrome fuel door. Bought a matte black fuel door on eBay then had it painted. Didn't want Matte black on those.
My philosophy about black or chrome gas cap is simple and follows the age-old (or is it old age) question...do the curtains match the drapes...does the gas cap match the wheels?
It sits on Eibach pro kit with adjustable a-arms also put in camber bolts in back to square it up.
Firm with a little bounce. 🙂
Found this car with mod already lowered so that was helpful 🙂
