does anyone own or have seen an ivory pearl coat challenger with pinstripes? I ordered mine in this color I'm considering pinstriping it with the double T rally stripes (carbon fiber), seeing the color in person it seems like it should stay as is just add black rims, a black fuel cap and tints to create some contrast! :notallthere:

and also what do you think of this style of pinstriping in order to be different then what everyone else has

please post any pic if you own one or any ideas that you think might work..

I love a pearl white color, have it on my truck. Almost went that color on my Challenger but could not see any metallic pearl in the paint. Dealer should be that color in a van could be different on the Challenger.

But this is just me and to each his own but that strip looks like the car got run over by something. If you like by all means go with it just my 2 cents.

I also want something for my white SRT when it comes just haven't figured out what just yet so will leave it off till I see one I just love. I doubt I put anything on the roof and will just do hood and trunk.

Good luck!

Keep me posted as yours will probably get here way before mine, mine hasn't event started the building process yet, I guess I'm going with the double T from the hood all the way back

Will do. I post in the "those that have ordered SRTs post info here" something like that. I keep the updated information in there.

I was watching Mechium (SP?) auction and watching all those old 60s and 70s classics roll by. I noticed most of the racing strips back then did not go over the roof.

I'm from that era and guess that's why I have problems (for me) with the look of the strips starting at the front bumper all the way to the rear bumper. Just looks like it got ran over. Almost all the cars that have those strips in that time just did the hood and trunk.

Guess it's just a generation difference is all.

Makes sense, at the end of the day you can always add to it or remove from it (pinstripe)! One of my friends had the side stripes on his RT after two years of ownership he switched to the rally lines. but what's the story with you and things being ran over, I sense some post traumatic stress, haha

Mine is stripe-less, but forum member 70sDNA has a Ivory Pearl Challenger with silver body stripes that look great. May give you an idea how pinstripes look.
His post was in the "what did I do to my Challenger today" thread last May.

If you do make sure to post your photos!! I will look around also. Saw Dodge SRT truck which has similar hood scoop as mine and it has a single strip on the scope only which I have been thinking would look good.

Yep, I have a fear of being road kill, got ran over on my motorcycle back in 2008 and guess it's in my subconscious. Whahahahha:laugh2:

I loved the strip on my white 14 classic but feel the SRT needs hood truck strip.

nice I just found this charger stripe seems kind of nice http://www.autoguide.com/gallery/gallery.php/d/357500-4/MP011_022DG.jpg
at this point I'm having a pinstripe overload too many good ideas out there

hahah I think you'll be safe as long as you look both ways before crossing, so you can let that go now, and you know what they say, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger

looks's good, why no tints though? I feel like the tints would add a little attitude to it

I'm with you on the overload, need to step back for awhile and will look at some more. I am planning on a tint on the SRT.
