A John Deere 8130 vs. an antique steam tractor.

A 9 liter, 240hp, turbodiesel going "butt-to-butt" against an old steam tractor, with probably no more than 50hp, in a "tug-o-war' showdown.

Who do you think will win? I'll let all of you physics experts explain the results.

It turns out that the John Deere becomes a $200k rototiller.

Seems like the 8130 is geared pretty high for as fast as he can zip down the track. Also, I bet if he used the MFWD on that Deere, it may have helped to even the score. Still, pretty cool to see. I love old steam powered iron.
