Coming from the Mazdaspeed 3 world where the risk of blowing up your engine with a few simple bolt-on's was high, i'd like to know how the 6.1L hemi and associated power train fare in terms of strength, durability and resilience to modding?

How much power can these cars handle before the risk of A-sploding becomes likely? Anyone ever have any problems with their cars or are people happily modding into the realm of ridiculous without ever looking back?

These cars can handle a lot if done right.
A few examples would be up to 125 shot of N2o with proper tuning.
S/C 8 lbs of boost with proper tuning, Stock Transmission can handle approx. 550 hp before upgrades need to be done.

The Generation III Hemi can handle 8 psi of boost if tuned properly. Anything above 8 psi should have a forged bottom end.

As others have said. It is all about proper tuning.
