It's not part of the Classic package so it might not be equipted with it. Even if you put the button on there if it doesn't have the rest of the stuff it won't work. I'm sure if Tony S/S Dodge see this he'll tell you what else is needed.

If the car wasn't built with Electronics Convenience Group - it will involve additional modules (WIN (ignition switch/node), PEM (keyless module), and the appropriate Keyless Go Fobs).

The production code is # AFC for Electr. Conv Group which includes:
* steering wheel control buttons
* auto-dimming rearview mirror w/ mic for phone
* Homelink universal garage opener
* uConnect (Bluetooth for phone)
* iPod interface connector & cable
* alarm system
* remote start (automatic only)
* EVIC instrument cluster
(trip computer, oil pressure/temp gauge, 4 wheel TPM)

The Keyless Go (code #GX4) is part of the bundle...if your car doesn't have the steering wheel controls (easy tell-tale sign), your car wasn't built with that option.

Some others have added it, but it isn't an easy process and requires a re-flash of the PCM to activate the modules that were added on to make that possible.
