Here is a video of the install on a 5.7L Challenger

These strut braces are made of Mild Steel in the USA, and for under $200, are a great deal!

For those wondering this does clear the 6.1L intake....

We tested it on our shop 300C SRT and it does clear the intake. However it looks like this is a Challenger only Product as it won't clear the hood on the LX cars.

So this will fit 5.7, 6.1, and 392 Challangers!

All strut braces improve handling; but some more than others. Not to discredit the Lakewood unit, but our brace made by REM is the most functional one on the market because it replaces the factory metal bar going across the wiper cowl and then bolts to the strut towers, giving 4 full points of mounting. It is, however, a little more money than the Lakewood. But you can't go wrong either way!

Hi Mikey,
Thanks for your reply, do I need to modify the new caps to fit the Lakewood strut brace? Just curious because in the install video you have to trim the stock plastic ones to fit correctly. Thank you.

If you go with the billet strut caps, you won't have to modify anything. However, they recommend using some silicone to seal them if you use a strut brace.
