At first I though my seat belt might have been partially in the door and hence was frozen and wet.
Then today when I put in on and was wet and realized it always retracts normal and must be getting wet from inside the panel? Don't know where water could be getting into it unless its leaking from the pillar or roof seam? Any one else experience this. It's a 2017. Guess I need a garage.

Or, possibly a leak around the quarter window?

The retractor is bolted to the inside of the quarter panel at bottom of b-pillar area. Water works its way down by gravity, so it would have to enter from some point above where the belt / retractor is.

I'm noticing my seat belts being soaked. But only the portion behind the plastic panels. 2016 R/T. Window sealed. Window gasket/trim all in place. As much as the plastic panels appear dry along the door. Have you found out what might have been the cause on your Challenger?

Hello AAchally,

If you end up going into the dealer for an inspection, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to help with the servicing process.
