I have seen a few left over SRT8 with 6 speed and Plum Crazy color combo out there that i am looking at.

anybody bought a left over new 2013 recently and can give idea on price. see online they are discounting the $50-52k SRT8 models to $46,500 range, but would think as '13 model and Hellcat could get more off?

thanks

I just traded in my 2010 R/T Classic on a '13 SRT. The sticker was $52K and I talked them down to $42K.

There are still a few out there, but you will find a lot of Jazz Blue, Plum Crazy and Black ones...

Those cars have been sitting for as long as 2 years.

Yup, for starters the oil shouldn't be in it no more than six months, regardless if you put miles on it or not. Think the dealer is doing a $125 oil change with out you prompting them?

What interval are you guys changing your oil at? I am running AMSOIL and was wondering if the 6 month/6K mile interval would extend over to the SRT8.

I keep things simple with servicing all my vehicles. I simply go by what the owners manual states. The '13 SRT manual states for the oil to use the certified type, (and they state what that is). It says to use 0W-40. I use Mobile 1. Penzoil is hard to come by for me. In the manual it states in bold print, in many places, that the oil change interval should never exceed 6,000 miles or 6 months, which ever comes first. I'm never close to my miles, so I always do the change based on every 6 months. My car has 5700 on it and had two oil changes.

yep ted right on-my 13 born date of august8 2012-purchased june 25 of this year- and with only 1231 miles my engine sounded loud changed oil cut open the filter to find metal in the bottom of the filter and trapped in the filters lining-oil that looked dark brown dirty and very thin-tires that are cracked throughout the treads-last is the ride height from side to side is 1/2 inch lower in the left rear.

The ride height difference could come down to corner balance. An adjustable suspension would be set to have even weight distribution to each wheel. It won't always be the exact same for each corner. I set my adjustable Springs exactly the same and there is a 1/4" difference from side to side in the rear. Wish I had wheel scales to corner balance mine.
