So dealership has been no help, misdiagnosed the issue and replaced a water pump pulley after having the my car for a week. Pulled off the lot w the same issue present, long story short service team at dodge believes my 2016 SRT 15,000 miles needs new lifters/ possibly rocker arm due to the ticking noise upon acceleration etc. The parts are on national backorder. Dealership will not have it possibly until Dec. My question is can I still drive with that ticking issue/hemi tick, or should I just store the car in my garage until the part comes in. Definitely do not want to damage anything.

If the ticking goes lower that means it’s already eaten into the camshaft. Either way it’s a big fix and better be done right.
I wouldn’t recommend driving it.
