Hi all,

Just bought an 18 SXT with a 6 speaker system. No amp, no sub.

Here is my plan first. Then I will get to my questions

Front dash - Kicker 3.5's running off stereo power

Doors - Polk Audio db692 running off amp

Rear - Polk Audio db652 running off amp

Sub - Rockford P3 running off amp

I will use the rear speaker signal to feed into an Audio Control LC6i, sum the signal and use that for all 3 outputs to my amp. I know I wont be able to fade my system, but I dont do that anyway. And I will adjust the rear output signal accordingly on the LC6i to make sure its used for filler sound.

My question is this... since I want to run the dash off the stereo, do the dash, door, and rear all have their own output from the uconnect? Or do the dash and front use the same signal out of the uconnect, then split somewhere up in the dash? And if they all have their own signals, what is the speaker wire colors for all the outputs from the uconnect?

This works great

I originally tapped off rear speakers in my ‘16 and had the audio control unit. It works but messes up level for phone conversations and NAV prompts if not using amplified dash speakers. I then discovered this: https://pac-audio.com/catalog/audio-interfacing/ap4-ch41. Works great retains balance control also
