Does anybody know what the MDH number means ? This number is right under the VIN number on the door sticker. Does it mean Month Date Hour ?? The first 2 digits correspond with the month the car was build.

The MDH format is MMDDHH where MM is the month, DD is the day, and HH is the hour.

Month - two digit representation of the month produced
01 - January
02 - February
03 - March
04 - April
05 - May
06 - June
07 - July
08 - August
09 - September
10 - October
11 - November
12 - December

Day - two digit representation of day on month produced
01 - first day thru 31 - thirty first day

Hour - Two digit military time vehicle was produced
01 = 1 AM thru 24 = 12 PM

Example:
MDH 100819
decodes as:
10 = Tenth month (October)
08 = Eighth day
19 = Nineteenth hour (7 PM)

So is the H the time it starts it's build or the time it is finished?

Following my car on VOTS, it took 2 days to build. Guess I can wait to see what the sticker

says when it comes in, just curious.

When I called Chrysler to ask a question she said my build date (factory record) was the day after what the sticker said so it must mean the day the build started.

Just looked at mine today and found that I purchased it 3 days before its one year birthday. So technically when I purchased my SXT it was less than a year old. ;)
