I just got my 2009 R/T back from the dealer after the timing chain recall and a brake job. I am pretty sure there is a stud or bolt missing near the intake. Can anyone confirm this? Is it worth the hassle to go back to the dealer or should I just pick up one from a local hardware store? Just trying to figure out if it is truly necessary to replace. Thanks!

Isn't that the bolt that holds the silencer mount for the stock intake? You don't need it with the aftermarket intake.

double check your OEM intake tubing for it... (the one that you removed)

Bought the car with k&n already installed 4 years ago. The stud seems like it's just for support since the part it's going into is welded
