Curious myself. Fairly certain my fronts are hopping again. Resurfaced at 11k miles. Now at 34k and have some shimmy when braking again. Frustrating. The first time the dealership gives me the, "oh it's a big heavy car, blah blah blah". Sorry, I don't care how heavy the car. Have owned bigger heavier vehicles with no issues whatsoever. Poor design/parts is the bottom line. Curious about the police car front package as well.

Heading to Steve White next week for this.

Curious as to if I can just keep my current pads (they are the STP “performance” pads ) until they wear out and just have them switch out the rotors.

I could just hold on to the new pads that come with the kit until the current ones wear out - they have ~11,000 miles on them.

Thoughts as to if this would be foolish?
