Ok, so per the 195.00 visit to my local mopar dealer, they diagnosed the TCM to an internal failure. Cost 1200 to start for replacement. Found a new TCM on E Bay for 250.00, 5 min to install. Took it to dodge to program it, and guess what, code U0101, still no communication to the TCM. So I say, well I'm here, find the issue, after 1 hour they tell me the issue, a bad trans control relay. Most likely cause all along, since it was an intermittent issue. Cost for visit, 200.00. Total amount invested 645.00. Still a far cry from the 1200.00 they wanted to throw a TCM in to start.
