The numbers will be better on slicks and on a better surface.

What really stands out to me here is Jonny Lieberman's opinion on the car. He gets to drive pretty much everything, and for him to use such positive words in talking about the Hellcat is a big deal. Especially considering he'd take one over an F12 Berlinetta, GT500, ZL1, and even Viper.

I understand, and disagree, respectively of course.

I'll never be in the position where an F12 is a possible purchase, and even if I were, would probably not spend my money on one.

It doesn't matter that the Ferrari is better engineered, "higher quality," or designed by Italy's best, it simply doesn't "do it" for me.

To each their own, but for Jonny Lieberman to say he would prefer the Hellcat, that's not a discredit to his knowledge/ability/logic, it's a testament to how fun a vehicle like the Hellcat can be. It's not about how much money a car costs, but about much it makes you smile and much quickly your heart is racing when you're behind the wheel.

No, I haven't seen or heard an F12 in person, but even if I won the lottery I would never be able to drive one without worrying about things as minor as getting a nick in the paint. The Hellcat is still a Challenger, is still accessible to a lot of people, and is still a ridiculous, over-powered muscle car. So no, it might not be the better car, but it's capable of making even the most tenured automotive journalists believers...

The HC is the highest hp accessible car that will be on the market. That alone is epic!

But please don't tell me a fling with Roseanne is the same as Scarlett...

And I'll never be with a Scarlett, but god dammit I can dream can't I
