Question: if I bought a Flowmaster Super 44 with 2.5" offset inlet/outlet, would a shop be able to replace it for the stock exhaust without buying the entire Force 2 system? If so is this the correct part? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLO-942548/

I would start by installing magnaflow 11366 mufflers in place of the resonators, because the mufflers are a open straight through design that flow good. The resonators are the restrictive part in the exhaust system. I installed the Magnaflow axle back kit, and it sounds great with no drone at all.

You can never go wrong with flowmasters just make sure you remove those resonators

I went with 4X9 Flowmasters in place of the resonators, axle back, dual round tips, sounds and looks great. There is a slight increase in cabin noise but I like it :D

UPDATE:

I had the Super 44's put on in place of the stock muffler, did not remove the resonators. Got a deeper tone and slightly increased volume, but not quite as much as I was hoping for. The problem I'm finding is toeing the line between too much and not enough. Are there different resonators that I could replace the stock one with to get another moderate increase? Thanks for the help and interest!
