I am in the middle of a AAR Cuda conversion starting with a 2009 SRT Challenger. I figured since so many people are PMing me about the build and and asking for pics. I figured I would start a thread on the build. I know this is not for everyone but some may change their mind because I'm going to try and do it the very best I can to pay tribute to the original AAR Cuda. This will be a single headlight conversion and I will be doing something totally different with the rear from what others have done. Here is the start. Headlights are done and we moved the turn signal to the headlight. The grille is not done yet. I'm holding that for last. The interior is almost done except the headrest. I'll keep you all posted.

This is how the car looked the night I picked it up.

As a fellow AAR fan can't wait to see how your car turns out. If I ever opt to go to single headlights I'll try add the driving lights.

Interior is done as well as badges

The interior is done as well as the badges for the steering wheel and the front nose. I am going to be adding a 2011 and up nose and adding a place in the 2011 and up nose for the nose badge like the 2008 to 2010 Challenger has.

I ordered a diffuser from Luke at Steve White Motors today. It goes in for paint and installation of the new hood, spoiler as well as the custom grille, tail panel and bumpers in two weeks. Most everything is all set. We now just need to start painting it! It should be done for the Nats in Ohio. I really want to show it off there since this is where they will honor the AAR Cuda and T/A Challenger this year. I'll keep you folks posted!

I went with the stinger fiberglass. I've test fitted it and it looks like it will fit with NO adjustments needed. Unreal! Most hoods that are fiberglass always need something.

Very cool of the two it's the more retro path. I opted for the SRT 8 hood since I wanted it to look like it might have been a factory option. Can't wait to see the finished product. BTW will you be at Carlise if so and you happen to see Rosie (my AAR) drop by.

Ok cool. I will be in Killer Bee at Carlisle but I will look you up when. I get there. I'm glad to see people are embracing what we are doing to our cars!

I went with the stinger AAR hood a few years back and the workmanship is unreal and it fit perfectly.

Spoiler and Diffuser by Steve White Motors, Luke can hook you up. Billboards by Vinyl Imagination. Wheels are Hotchkis from Tire Rack. Front grill is from Danko. 426 engine built by Arrington and installed and Supercharged by Steve White Motors. Built Transmission and axles. Close to 700hp at wheels and over 720 foot pounds of torque.
