Is there a breakdown on how many 2017 R/T's in High Octane Red that were produced?
I tried to search, but could not find it.

Sorry to hear about this mess.

5 years ago I went through the same crap that you're just starting to go through. My Challenger was flood totalled, and it took 7 weeks to finally get a fair settlement.

Their job is to wear you down, frustrate you as much as possible, and have you cave for a low settlement price.

As far as color is concerned, it will not make much of a difference on price. At best case, if Blue Books etc show an adder, that'll be it. Not much to nothing.

Just get all the info you can get on yours and what retail replacement cost is. It changes monthly by the Blue Book, so buckle up and hold firm.

This was mine

Wheel Tire Car Hood Automotive tire
Car Vehicle Hood Motor vehicle Automotive design
Wheel Tire Vehicle Fiat coupé Car

Again, 7 weeks of really fighting State Farm, and their tacticts.

Ended up with what I originally wanted for a settlement.

Needless to say, I quickly dumped those "friendly neighbors."

Best of luck

Thanks again everybody with your advice and concerns.
It is so depressing everyday looking out and not seeing my car.
I was hoping this car was going to be with me for years to come.

Wow, that is tragic. I would insist it be totaled with the frame damage. Those can never seem to be fixed right.

I'd be persistent and get max dollars or a "like" replacement or even an upgrade. In some states if the insurance is not acting ethically you can sue them for treble damages. I'd also look into getting the car back on a salvage title after it's totaled. Try either getting it fixed paying cash, or part it out.

Hire a lawyer if you must.

Really crappy to have happen. This is one reason mine is not a daily and I rarely drive it and avoid heavy traffic at all costs. There's so many bad drivers out there. My daily drivers are inexpensive and easily replaced.

Too late now, but when you get a replacement, look into agreed-value coverage. You might pay a little more, but you'll avoid payout hassles (theoretically).
Agreed value is only on a collector policy, not everyone gets one as it has to be an extra vehicle and restricted use only.

was for my left muffler, which ended up being $3500 alone
Good god, are you serious??

Granted it's been probably 20 years since I had to replace a muffler on one of my cars but it was like $150. What is so special about these?
