I know this is a huge longshot but i figure I'll atleast put it out here and ask, does anyone in this group who purchased a Barton Challenger shifter have the black flat stick with red engraving? And if so would you be willing to part with it?

Basically Barton no longer does color options for the flat sticks, you can now only get the flat sticks in silver or black and no color engraving for the Barton lettering.

My whole look and interior of my car is red/black so i would kill to have that black/red flat stick on my Barton.

I would of course pay a fair price for the flat stick as well as give the one i have which is a black flat stick with white lettering. If anyone is interested please let me know!

Tape off the non flat part of the stick....then spray or brush what's unmasked red - then take a small block with a paper towel wrapped tight around it and wipe the flat area.....the paint will remain in the recessed letters consistent and neat....

Get it Black Powder Coated , then spray a few light coats of Red Spray Paint 2 light coats should work,
Then you wet sand it with 800 grit sand paper and a small sanding block till the red is removed back to the black powder coating,
except that in the letters because its deeper. Then spray with 2 coats of Clear Engine Ceramic Paint by Dupli-Color and you got your
Black and Red Shifter.
