So I am trying to install some nasty piping for the interior mood lighting but I have no idea what wires to splice. I am in a 2016 Challenger.

I have spliced what I think is a 12 volt positive (I know, I may have screwed myself), but I have no idea what to splice into for the ground. I have tried splicing into the red/black wire immediately above the red wire I spliced into with no results.

Can anyone with detailed information tell me which wires I should be splicing into to get these lights to work. I need it to be a constant 12v, as I don't want the lights turning off when I close the door of course.

Any help will be great!

So...you didn't even try checking the pin outs with a voltage meter to find out which is 12v?

General rule for automotive. Red power +, black ground -. Any other color, until and unless tested, are not safe to use, especially with all of the computer bus wires being used.
That being said, I would not even use a red wire until I confirmed it has 12 volts.
