Hello everyone,

Just reaching out to see if anyone knows where I can locate the tail light cover seen in this photo....[iurl="http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=889954&stc=1&d=1519968640"]
[/iurl]

I've looked around for for a while and have not been able to source it. From what I gather it appears to be for an 08-14 model year The picture is from southerncarparts as part of their pictures in the sequential tail lights product page. I plan on calling them tomorrow but also thought I'd reach out here see if anyone has come across them :)

Thank you.

Thank you I appreciate it :-D
I must have come across it right around the time you were posting also.

I think that that overlay will give me the exact look I want.
Now I'll get sequential tail light harness with LED bulb upgrades

yup. one of my first mods. a much better look than their attempt at replicating the 1970 taillights, in my opinion

I agree I was struggling overall with the rear end of 08-14 but I also personally do not like the look of the 15+ not quite sure what it is maybe the "glossy" look of it. I think from all the pictures I've seen, including yours this is the ideal look!

Mine are ordered. NOw I wait :)

Btw, yours look great, where did you get those specific dodge letters from ?
Hey thanks. I can't stand the modern Dodge font but I love the 70's font. Those letters are reproductions meant for 1972-1974 models. They are a little pricey but they are very nice quality and are thick heavy stanless steel. You do have to grind off the old style fasteners on them and fill them in with something like epoxy so they fit flush with the panel. I just used 3M double sided emblem tape to attach them, been there for years no problem. Ive seen a few people take these old letters that used to go on the hoods of the old Challengers and put them on the hoods of the new ones (they are different than these), but I've never seen anyone with them on the rear panel like mine. I had a 1972 Challenger when I was younger so really love how this came on out mine. Here's a link to them:

You were t kidding on the price. I think the look is work it though. I'm going to ha e to bite the bullet and get these.
Thanks again, appreciate you answering my questions.
Hope you don't mind, I'll be sure to cite you're car as inspiration.

By the end of March I should have back-up cam, mud flaps and the tail light overlay/sequential tail light and led bulb upgrades done.

Of course, no need to give me any credit, i'll just be happy that someone else likes this retro look as much as me. While you're at it, maybe you want to put the hood letters on too HAHA

I would have done this but I have a 2009 and it had the stupid nose badge so I thought it would look bad. So I just put a Fratzog emblem on the nose instead. I only know of one guy that's put these old style hood letters on and I think they look pretty damn good - http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f19/dodge-lettering-hood-332298/index3.html#post4588242

Anyway, good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
